A group of Ukrainian recovery managers has successfully completed Stanford University’s Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Certificate Program.
The program equipped participants with advanced methodologies for improving the planning, coordination, transparency, and delivery of complex construction and reconstruction projects. These principles are particularly important for Ukraine’s recovery, which requires speed and efficiency combined with accountability, sustainability, and long-term community resilience.
Throughout the program, the participants worked on practical recovery and reconstruction initiatives, demonstrating how internationally recognized construction-management practices, digital coordination tools, and measurable performance indicators can be applied to projects that directly improve people’s lives.

The completion of the Stanford VDC Certificate Program represents an important step toward developing a new generation of Ukrainian recovery professionals capable of managing large-scale reconstruction projects in accordance with leading international standards.
